Ava and Ethan have been enemies since the day they met. They can't stand each other, and they make no secret of it. But when Ava's grandmother passes away and leaves her house to both of them, they're forced to live together under the same roof.

At first, they try to avoid each other as much as possible. But as they spend more time together, they start to see each other in a new light. They realize that they have more in common than they thought, and they start to fall for each other.

But their relationship is far from easy. They have to deal with their own prejudices, as well as the disapproval of their friends and family. And when a secret from Ethan's past threatens to tear them apart, they have to decide if they're willing to fight for their love.

Excerpt

Ava couldn't believe she was actually living with Ethan. Her sworn enemy. The guy she had hated for years.

But here they were, sharing a kitchen, a bathroom, and even a bedroom. It was a recipe for disaster.

"What are you ng here?" Ava demanded, glaring at Ethan.

Ethan raised an eyebrow. "I live here, remember? Or have you already forgotten about our little inheritance?"

Ava rolled her eyes. "I just can't believe I'm stuck living with you." She crossed her arms over her chest.

Ethan shrugged. "Well, I can't say I'm thrilled about it either. But what are we going to do? Sell the house? I don't think our grandmother would be too happy about that."

Ava sighed. "I guess you're right. We're just going to have to make the best of it." She paused. "For Grandma's sake."

Ethan nodded. "For Grandma's sake." He reached out and took her hand.

Ava looked up at him, surprised. "What are you ng?"

Ethan smiled. "I'm making a truce. We don't have to like each other, but we can at least try to get along. For Grandma's sake."

Ava hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Okay. A truce."

And with that, the two enemies began their uneasy cohabitation.
