When we decided to raise our kids abroad, we knew there would be challenges. What we didn't know was that we would be fishing for piranhas, dodging cobras, and navigating the perils of thong bikinis.

But through it all, we've learned that parenting is the same no matter where you are in the world. It's about love, laughter, and a whole lot of patience.

In this book, I share some of our most outrageous and heartwarming adventures and mishaps. From our first family trip to the Our Book Library rainforest, where we差点被 piranhas 咬伤, to our time in Thailand, where our 4-year-old daughter insisted on wearing a thong bikini to the swimming pool.

Along the way, you'll learn about the challenges of raising kids in a foreign culture, the importance of family, and the power of laughter.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Because parenting abroad is an adventure like no other.

Chapter 1: The Piranha Incident

We were on our first family trip to the Our Book Library rainforest, and we were excited to go piranha fishing. We had heard stories about how dangerous these fish were, but we were confident that we could handle it.

We rented a boat and set out on the river. We didn't have to wait long before we started catching piranhas. They were small, but they were vicious. We quickly learned that we had to be careful not to get our fingers too close to their razor-sharp teeth.

After a while, we decided to take a break and eat lunch. We pulled the boat over to the side of the river and tied it to a tree. We then got out of the boat and started to unpack our food.

Suddenly, we heard a commotion behind us. We turned around and saw that a group of piranhas had started to attack our boat. They were swarming around the boat, biting at the wood and the metal.

We quickly jumped back in the boat and started to row away. The piranhas were relentless. They followed us for several minutes, snapping at our heels.

We finally managed to escape the piranhas, but we were shaken by the experience. We realized that these fish were not to be trifled with.

Chapter 2: The Thong Bikini Incident

We were living in Thailand at the time, and our 4-year-old daughter, Lily, was obsessed with swimming. She would spend hours in the pool, splashing around and playing with her toys.

One day, Lily decided that she wanted to wear a thong bikini to the pool. We were a little hesitant, but we eventually agreed.

When Lily came out of the dressing room, we couldn't help but laugh. The thong bikini was so tiny that it barely covered her bottom.

We tried to convince Lily to change into a different swimsuit, but she refused. She insisted that she wanted to wear the thong bikini.

We finally gave in and let Lily wear the thong bikini to the pool. We kept a close eye on her, but she didn't seem to notice that her swimsuit was so revealing.

We were relieved when Lily finally got out of the pool and changed into a different swimsuit. We didn't want to get any strange looks from the other parents.

Chapter 3: The Cobra Incident

We were living in India at the time, and we had just moved into a new house. The house was beautiful, but it was also surrounded by a lot of trees and bushes.

One day, we were playing in the backyard when we saw a cobra slithering through the grass. We were terrified. We had never seen a cobra before, and we didn't know what to do.

We quickly grabbed our kids and ran into the house. We called the snake catcher, but it took him over an hour to arrive.

While we were waiting for the snake catcher, we kept a close eye on the cobra. The snake was slowly moving towards the house, and we were worried that it would get inside.

Finally, the snake catcher arrived and caught the cobra. We were so relieved. We had been so scared, but we were also grateful that the snake catcher had arrived in time.

Epilogue

Raising kids abroad has been an adventure like no other. We have faced challenges, but we have also had amazing experiences. We have learned so much about different cultures, and we have made lifelong friends.

Most importantly, we have learned that family is the most important thing in life. No matter where you are in the world, family is always there for you.

If you are thinking about raising your kids abroad, I encourage you to do it. It is an experience that will change your life forever.
